A video messaging app to bring friends closer
Kitty is a start up launching a new video only messaging app to the market. The key functionality of this app is stitching all videos into a single one to deliver a single video message. The user can create a group for a birthday party, invite friends into it and everyone can send a video to the group, then the administrator of the group can select the best videos, stitch into one and send to the birthday person.

Challenge social interactions by creating a link between loved ones who are not close. The idea started with the desire to become an anti-thesis to what we know as traditional social media. The product has the user's privacy as the core of the business, providing a safe space where people can be uninhibited when expressing themselves.
Before moving on to high-fidelity designs, I started creating low-fi wireframes of what the app would look like based on the client's requirements so I could optimise the user flow and then set up a prototype to put in front of potential users to identify pain points and prioritise what functionalities to keep or add for the MVP.
Once the key functionalities of the app were chosen, the high-fidelity design of the product started. It was decided to utilise some existing patterns from a few social and chat apps to reduce the user's learning curve and improve the product acceptance.
